Membership Information

Membership has its privileges! Our church is owned and run by its members. We have periodic Membership Orientation classes for people interested in becoming a member of AMC. Look for announcements several times a year, or speak with our Pastor about scheduling a class.

Our next Membership Orientation Class will be Sunday, April 29 at 12:45 pm at the Chapel.

NEW! Past Life Regression Sessions

Rev. Steve Woods
Private Readings on Mondays and Wednesdays, except as noted. Contact the chapel office for availability. No readings May 28.

Guides and Teachers Circles - every Monday unless otherwise announced. The first Monday is a beginner's circle. First time attendees must attend this circle before coming to any other circle; others are welcome. 7:30 pm. $25 donation. No circle May 28.

Spiritual Healing Sessions: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday after the first Sunday of each month.
½ hour session: $30 donation, 1 hour session: $60 donation

Appointments are not currently availalble. The chapel officeis maintaining a waiting list, in the event that appointments become available.

Psychic Saturday: Guidance for Spiritual Upliftment and Growth

Psychic Saturday is the last Saturday of each month (except December) from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. Registration begins at 9:30 - no early arrivals, please. Visit our Psychic Saturday page for details!

Wish List Items

We rely on donations for many paper and kitchen products to keep our costs at a reasonable level. Please donate what you are able. We need: large and small paper plates, napkins, toilet paper, plastic ware, paper towels, aluminum foil and paper bowls. Thanks for your generosity.

Volunteer Opportunities

Can you help us?
We have an immediate need for volunteers to help with activities around the chapel including people to assist with Children's Sunday School, ushering, fellowship and Psychic Saturday. Contact the chapel if you are interested. To find out more about all of the different volunteer opportunities, please see below.

Volunteer Opportunities at AMC
Everyone has talents to share and AMC is always looking for volunteers to assist with a variety of committees. Volunteering at AMC offers wonderful opportunities! Click here for a list of volunteer committees, or feel free to take a look through the Volunteer Notebook in the narthex for more details. Some ways you can help include: ushering, coffee hours, potlucks, Adopt-a-Highway, Psychic Saturday, choir, childcare, homeless shelter, visitation, publicity, fundraising, mailings, cleaning, building maintenance or the bookstore.

Weekly Healing Meditation

Every Tuesday, 7:00-7:30 pm unless otherwise announced. Led by Rev. Robert Jackson in the Chapel sanctuary.

Ushers Needed!

We are requesting a gift of time. There are three opportunities each week to give help our church as the role of Usher: Sunday morning and evening and Wednesday evenings. For more information on how to participate, please contact the Chapel at 703 276-8738.

Adult Study Groups

Each Sunday we invite you to engage in insightful, lively discussions on Metaphysical topics. 9:45 - 10:30 am in Roller Hall. Light breakfast snacks and coffee will be served.

Estudios Metafísicos - Spanish Language Adult Study Group

Estudios Metafísicos en español: El grupo se reune los segundos y cuartos domingos de cada mes de las 9:15 a 10:00 am.

On the second and fourth Sunday of each month, we are offering our Spanish language study group, in addition to our English language program. Please join us from 9:15 to 10:00 am.

Homeless Outreach

Requests for contributions of personal care products and other supplies are ongoing. Please us our drop box in Roller Hall to leave your donations. Please do not leave used personal items. If you have any questions about whether something is acceptable for donation, please call the chapel office or the Homeless Outreach Committee chair before leaving items in the chapel.
